Most individuals require only 1-2 pumps per application.  If  you have dry skin and require more hydration, I suggest applying a few more sprays from the Essence/Toner directly before applying the Day & Night Cream.  If you have oily skin, I suggest only one pump per application.  Each individual's skin is different and may require more or less.
